If you have dispensed medication for the wrong resident, you will need to reset the prescription data. If the resident has never been on this medication before, you will need to delete this entry on Atlas after archiving the medication.
To reset the prescription data, please open the resident’s profile by pressing F9 and searching for the resident’s last name.
Go to ‘Dispensing History’, press on the item to highlight it, right click on it and select ‘Cancel item’.
After this, enter the reason and press OK. Now, on the same screen, please double-click on the item. Once the new screen pops up, click on ‘View Rx’.
On the bottom left corner, please click on the arrow pointing down next to ‘Actions’ and press on ‘Reset All Data’. By doing this, the care home will not be able to see the prescription on Atlas Central anymore.
If the resident has never been on this medication before, you will also need to delete it from their repeat medication list, as it will show on different reports for the Care Home. To do this, please return to the resident’s profile, go to the ‘Repeat Med’ tab, click on the medication so that it’s highlighted and press the delete button at the bottom of the screen.
Please note, if the medication has been archived, you will need to press the ‘S/H archive’ box first to be able to see the medication.
If you have any issues following these steps, please contact the support team via chat, phone on 0117 200 1474 or via email on support@atlasemar.com.
