Each facility has its own unique signup verification code, which is used by its members to successfully link their accounts to a specific facility to be vetted.
A facility administrator can view this signup verification code or change this signup verification code if required.
The 6-digit verification code should be provided to each member before they create an account on SmartSafeguarding. When a facility member needs to be vetted, the facility admin should provide them with the code.
How to view the signup verification code?
Only a facility admin can view the 6-digit verification code; therefore, if you are unsure of the facility's code, please contact the facility directly to request this code.
As a facility admin, you can view this code by following the steps outlined below:
1. Navigate to the Administration section from the left-hand menu.
2. Click on 'Update Organisation' to open the facility profile.
3. Under the 'About' section, you will see the signup verification code.
4. Click on the 'eye' icon to reveal the 6-digit verification code.
How to change the signup verification code?
Only a facility admin can change the 6-digit verification code.
As a facility admin, you can change this code by following the steps outlined below:
1. Navigate to the Administration section from the left-hand menu.
2. Click on 'Update Organisation' to open the facility profile.
3. Under the 'About' section, you will see the signup verification code.
4. Click on the 'eye' icon to reveal the 6-digit verification code.
5. Click 'Generate New Code'. A new 6-digit verification code will be generated at random.
