Why am I not eligible for a card? I want to appeal my results

We understand it is disappointing when an application is not approved. We want to be open about how our process works and why we sometimes have to say no.

Our responsibility (Duty of Care)

In the Netherlands, we follow a strict "Duty of Care" (zorgplicht). This means we are legally required to make sure a card is a safe financial choice for your specific situation. As a financial institution, we perform security and identity checks on all new members. Sometimes, based on the information provided, we cannot offer you an account at this time. Our criteria may be stricter than other providers.

How the process works:

Automated Process (No manual reviews): To keep things fair and fast, our system checks applications automatically based on data. Because of this, we cannot manually change the result or review it by hand at this stage.

The decision is final (for now): We cannot change the current outcome, but we know your financial situation can change over time.

Apply again in 3 months: You are very welcome to try again in 3 months. We would be happy to see you back then.
