Changing your address or mobile number
You can update your address and mobile number directly in the app. Here's how:
Tap the person icon in the top right of your home screen
Go to Personal Details
Tap on your address and/or mobile number to make changes
Important:
Make sure you're using the latest version of the Yonder app
You’ll need biometrics set up on your phone (face ID, fingerprint, or passcode)
We currently do not support mobile numbers outside the Netherlands.
Can’t update your address in the app?
If the app doesn't allow a direct update, we will need to re-verify your identity and your new residency.
1. Re-verify your ID Contact us via the in-app chat or at help@yonder.com. We will send you a secure link to upload one of the following:
Valid Passport (International)
Dutch Identity Card (ID-kaart)
Dutch Residence Permit (Verblijfstitel)
Dutch Driving Licence (Rijbewijs)
2. Proof of your new address We require an original, unredacted PDF of one of the following (dated within the last 3 months) to help@yonder.com:
Bank Statement: Showing your full name, new address, and at least two transactions.
Utility Bill: Water, Gas, or Electricity (Mobile phone bills are generally not accepted).
BRP Extract: An official extract from the Basisregistratie Personen (Municipality/Gemeente).
Tax Authority Letter: Official correspondence from the Belastingdienst.
Please note: We cannot accept screenshots or edited/redacted documents. Please send the original PDF file to help@yonder.com.

Start a chat in the app and send us:
Your old number
Your new number
We’ll handle the update for you.
Changing your name
To change the name on your account, we are legally required to re-verify your identity. Please message us in the chat or help@yonder.com, and we will send you a link to upload:
Marriage or Partnership Certificate (Huwelijksakte / Akte van geregistreerd partnerschap)
Divorce Decree (Echtscheidingsbeschikking)
Updated Passport or ID Card reflecting your new name.
Changing your email address
To update your email, start a chat in the app.
Tell us the new email address you would like to use, and our team will guide you through the security steps to make the switch.
