How do I add delivery instructions?

You can add delivery instructions for your Huel order once it has shipped and you have received a DPD tracking number.


How to Add Delivery Instructions

  1. Wait for your DPD tracking number — delivery instructions cannot be added until after your order has shipped

  2. Download or log in to the MyDPD app — available from your device's app store

  3. Find your Huel order using your DPD tracking number

  4. Open your delivery details in the app

  5. Choose your delivery instruction option — see available options below


Available Delivery Instruction Options

Written instructions

Leave specific guidance for your driver (e.g. "leave in porch", "ring doorbell twice")

Safe place photos

Upload photos showing exactly where to leave your parcel

Neighbour nomination

Designate a neighbour to accept your parcel if you are not home

What3Words location

Link your delivery to a precise GPS location — useful if your address is hard to find


Important Limitations

Cannot be added at checkout

Delivery instructions can only be added after your order has shipped — not during the Huel checkout process

Managed by DPD

Once your parcel is with DPD, delivery instructions are managed by DPD — not Huel

Tracking number required

You must have your DPD tracking number to access delivery options in the app

Not for address changes

Delivery instructions are for small adjustments only — for full address changes, say "talk to a human" and our team will assist

Optional

If no instructions are added, DPD will attempt delivery to the address provided at checkout
