Post-View Conversion
Updated over a year ago

Post-View Conversion occurs when a user is served an ad but didn’t click on it to make a purchase. The same user later returns to your shop (through other means) and makes a purchase within a set period of time. We consider this purchase to be attributed to post-view (offline interaction with one of your ads).

⚠ In Quanticfy, we consider that any conversion for which there were no previous clicks (its Customer Journey is empty) is a post-view conversion. Those can come from word of mouth, exposure to an offline advertisement (in the subway, on the radio...), etc.

From then, we consider that a post-view conversion is equal to a Direct Conversion.

It can be deduced as follows:

Post-view conversions = Total Conversions - Conversions post-click

To precisely measure post-view, we recommend you do a Geolift.
