Reporting on review comments and ratings

Written by Laura Bennett

Note: You will need 'Administrator' and 'Moderator' permissions to report on review comments and ratings.

You can run reports and pull insights on responses given in reviews using the "Scores and comments" report. The data you can pull from the system will depend on the questions in your review forms.

Go to the Administration Centre > Reports tab > Create a report > Scores and comments.

This will take you to the "Filter" panel and you will see that the options are broken into 4 segments in grey boxes: People, Reviews, Questions, Answers.

  • The 'People' section can be used to narrow down which people's responses you want to see and report on.

  • The 'Reviews' section can be used to identify the group of reviews that you want to focus your reporting on.

  • The 'Questions' section can be used to focus on one particular or multiple questions. Click "Open questions picker" to choose specific questions/sections to report on.

  • The 'Answers' section can be used to filter on the creation dates of responses.

Question filtering shortcuts via Form Design

If you open a form and click on the reporting icon on a section or question.

It will take you to your Scores and Comments report with a filter applied for all responses to that section or question.

Click "Save report" to pin this report to your Reports tab.

9 box grid reporting

If you use a 9 box grid, you can report on this visually and see the % of people in each box. You can also filter the report down using the standard filters mentioned above. Refer to the Talent and succession planning help page for more information.
