For media upload In SwipeGuide we recommend
Ratio of 4:3 with resolution 976:732 pixels
Pictures should have up to 5MB
Videos should have maximum 20 MB
We emphasise the important of keeping videos as short as possible to support end-users in following the instruction “step-by-step” in their own time pace, having to perform only one action at a time.
Follow the principles below to easily create effective visuals.
Note: Shapes can be added directly in the Media Editor in the SwipeGuide CMS

Use media from different Guides with the local storage (My Media)
A. What is the difference between My media and Guide's media:
My Media shows images and videos that you have uploaded from your local drive and only you can see these images.
The Guide's Media shows images and videos that have been assigned to a Topic/Instruction/Step and all Guide's editors can see those images.
All Images and videos uploaded under My Media are saved in your local storage & will remain there until they are assigned in the step, instruction or the topic under one of your Guides.
You can use all pictures uploaded under "My media" in all the Guides you have access to (unless local storage is cleared).
