Translating your Guide

Create content in multiple languages by Auto-translating your Guide, translating it manually, or export & importing languages

SwipeGuide offers a built-in translation solution that allows you to auto-translate your Guides, do it manually or import/export in the SwipeGuide platform.

Note: Auto-translate Feature is an add-on, contact your Customer Success Manager to add Auto-translate feature to your Platform.

Auto-translate your Guide

1. Go to an existing guide and click on the Guide menu

2. Click "Translate"

3. Click "AUTO-TRANSLATE"

4. Click on the drop down to Choose the language you want to translate your Guide into

  • Click "+ ADD NEW LANGUAGE" to add a new language to your Guide.

  • Select a language from the list of available languages on your Platform

    • Contact your Customer Success Manager or send our Support team a message via the chat if you need a language you don't see on the list.

  • Click on "ADD"

5. Click "AUTO-TRANSLATE"

6. Click "REVIEW UPDATED GUIDE" to see your Guide in the newly added language to check & edit the auto-translation directly in the Guide Editor.

7. Review Updated Guide in your new language.

Tip: Click the Guide Language button on your Guide cover to switch to any fully translated (100% translated) language.

Translate your Guide Manually

1. Go to an existing guide and click on the Guide menu

2. Click "Translate"

3. Click "TRANSLATE MANUALLY"

4. Select the language you want to translate your Guide into.

5. Click on the content you want to translate & type in the translation manually

6. Click "SAVE TRANSLATIONS"

7. Go to back your guide

8. Switch the language of the Guide to review the newly added language and edit the content in that language directly in the Guide Editor

Translate your Guide with the Export-Import functionality

1. Go to an existing guide and click on the Guide menu

2. Click "Translate"

3. Click "TRANSLATE MANUALLY"

3. Click EXPORT ALL to download the current Guide languages

4. Add translations to the excel

5. Import new languages into the Guide

In what language will end-users see my Guide?

When opening a guide, the starting language is based on the browser language of the user.

Your end-user will have the possibility to manually switch to another language available of his/her preference.

Note: If your guide is not available in that language, the platform automatically switches to the default language of that guide.
