What is a Learning Activity?

A learning activity is a resource action you can take to develop a specific skill. In Smart Skills, your manager assigns skill to you through a skill profile. Each skill has learning activities to help you reach the required skill level.

Example: This user has been assigned the skill 'Best Practices in Quality Control', which consists of 3 learning activities.

Do I need to mark a Learning Activity as completed?

It's recommended to complete the learning activities before requesting a skill assessment. This lets your manager know you have reviewed the material when they assess your skill level.

Tip: It is also possible to submit an assessment request without completing all learning activities. If you are unsure whether you need to complete all activities first, check with your manager or trainer.

👇 Once a learning activity is marked as completed, a green check appears on the right and the status changes to ‘Completed’.
