Assessing a skill level helps you track an employee's progress and provide valuable feedback to support their growth.
When to Assess a Skill Level
Approval needed: As an Admin, you will receive an email notification after an employee submits an assessment request. The skill's status on the skill matrix also changes to 'Approval needed.'
Self-Assessment: Employees can submit the request with or without a self-assessment. If a self-assessment is submitted, you will see their self-assessed level during your review.β
βIn Progress: You can also assess skills with the status 'In progress,' even if the employee hasn't requested an assessment. This allows you to record an employee's skill level without waiting for a request.
π‘Note: Once an employee has reached the required skill level (or higher), the skill's status will change to Approved. If you want to change a skill level after they have reached the required level, you can re-assess the skill level.
Sharing Additional Feedback
When assessing a skill, you can add written feedback to help the employee understand their strengths and areas for improvement. The employee will receive this feedback via a notification on the app.
