How do I know if I’ve already set up a SEPA mandate with smarta?

You're not sure whether you've already set up a SEPA Direct Debit mandate for payments to smarta? Here’s how you can find out – and what to do if you’re uncertain.

How to recognize an existing SEPA mandate

One possible sign: If you see a debit on your bank statement from our payment provider GoCardless referring to this IBAN:

FR76 1711 8820 0800 0000 3332 352

then it’s likely that you’ve already granted a SEPA mandate – potentially also for smarta.

But please note: GoCardless processes payments for many other providers as well. So this IBAN alone is not a definitive indicator that your mandate is linked to smarta.
