Create a Folder

This section describes how to create a folder in the File Manager.

Follow these steps to create a new folder:

  1. In the File manager module, you can create folders in the root as well as in subfolders.

    To create folders in the root, you need to be a Company Admin. In subfolders, Project Participants can create folders if the participant has a tag with Edit permission. Contact your Company Admin to get Edit permission on the root folder where you want to create folders, upload files etc.

  2. Click on Create Folder.

  3. Give the folder a name.

  4. Click Create.

A tip is that you can also create folders and upload CAD files directly from SkyView. This way, you can avoid uploading files from the File manager and do it directly from SkyView.
