Linking Tags to Main Folders

This section describes how to manage permissions for main folders in the File Manager for project participants.

Updated over a week ago

Follow these steps to manage permissions for main folders:

  1. Go to the File manager and position yourself at the root.

  2. Hover the cursor over the main folder for which you want to set permissions and click on the checkbox in the column to the left of the folder's name.

  3. Click on Tags.

  4. Choose the tags you want to link to the folder.

  5. Click Save.

  6. The selected tags are now linked to the folder and appear under the folder name in the list view. You can also see in the tags column which main folders have tags linked.

  7. To manage permissions on main folders for project participants, go to the Project participants module.

  8. Click on a user.

  9. Choose the tags you want to link to the user and the permission that should apply.

The tags control which folders are visible and which functions are accessible in the File Manager.
