Below are answers to frequently asked questions regarding report scheduling in the Sam Tool Supervisor (STS) V2.0:
How do I schedule my reports?
To schedule reports in STS:Access the "Reports" section: Log in to STS and navigate to the dedicated reports section.
Create a new report in 'Report Scheduling': Click on "New Report" and select the desired settings (data type, period, format, etc.).
Schedule the sending: In the scheduling options, define the frequency (daily, weekly, monthly) and the sending time.
Add recipients: Enter the email addresses of the individuals who will receive the report.
Save the schedule: Confirm and save your settings to activate the automatic report generation.
How do I receive reports on the 1st of every month?
When configuring the report schedule:Frequency: Select "Monthly".
Sending Date: Choose the 1st day of each month.
Sending Time: Specify the time at which you wish to receive the report.
By saving these settings, STS will automatically send the report on the 1st of each month at the defined time.
I cannot add my email when scheduling reports, what should I do?
If you are experiencing difficulties adding your email address:Check the email format: Ensure that the email address is entered correctly (e.g., name@domain.com).
User rights: Confirm that your user account has the necessary permissions to add recipients to the reports.
Conditions:
For an STS user, it is assumed that their email is already provided.
For an STM user, it is mandatory to have your email listed on your user page (not directly in the report scheduling).
Attention! As an integrator, it is not possible to add an STM user belonging to a client company (in compliance with GDPR policy). However, an STS user from the client company can create a report schedule for an STM user within their company.
I cannot delete a report schedule
If you are unable to delete a schedule:Check your permissions: Ensure that your account has the necessary rights to modify or delete scheduled reports.
Deletion procedure: Navigate to the list of scheduled reports, select the one to be deleted, and then use the "Delete" or "Cancel Schedule" option.
If you do not have access to delete it, please check the 'company' column. If the company name is that of your client or an integrator to which you do not belong, then only they can make modifications and/or deletions.
I cannot modify a report schedule
If you are unable to modify a schedule:Check your rights: Your user profile must allow modifications to scheduled reports.
The same applies as above. If you do not have access to modify it, please check the 'company' column. If the company name is that of your client or an integrator to which you do not belong, then only they can make modifications and/or deletions.
