🚀 What is the Click & Collect feature?

The Click & Collect feature was designed to offer a modern and practical solution for STM users. It allows the ordering of products that are not physically present in the machines (X’Tower, X’Smart, X’Locker).

🔹 Up to 1200 additional items can be listed without occupying physical space in the vending machines!

⚙️ General Operation

1. 👤 The user places an order from the machine screen.

2. 📤 The order is sent to the STS manager, who can accept or reject it.

3. ✅ If accepted, a replenisher or delivery person drops the product into an available compartment.

4. 📩 A notification appears on the user’s screen when the product is available.

5. 📦 The user can then collect their order.

📈 This feature improves the user experience by:

  • expanding the available catalog,

  • optimizing stock management,

  • modernizing the ordering workflow.

🔍 Steps to set up Click & Collect

🧩 1. Prerequisites

📂 Access to the new Click & Collect tab in STS

All STS users now have access to a new dedicated tab for managing Click & Collect. Simply go to the "Click & Collect" tab on the left.

🔐 Activation for STM users

To allow an STM user to access Click & Collect from X’Tower and X’Smart machines:

Go to the Click & Collect tab, then to “STM users.”

✅ Check the users to whom you want to give access to this feature.

🛍️ 2. Configuring Click & Collect Products
Add the products to the STS catalog.

✅ Check the items you want to make available through Click & Collect.

🗂️ These products do not need to be in stock in the machine, but they must be properly identified to be ordered.

3. Reserving compartments in machines

To allow product delivery into machines:

  • Compartments must be specifically reserved for Click & Collect.

  • This configuration is possible on all types of containers.

Once on the configuration page of your machine, click on
"Assign selected compartments for Click & Collect".

You will then see a small basket icon appear on the compartment, indicating it has been assigned to Click & Collect.

🛍️ Managing Click & Collect orders (by the distributor or the client)

💡 This feature allows the designated user (client or distributor) to:

Approve or ❌ Reject orders placed by STM operators

Whether you're a distributor or a client, you have the option to decide who manages Click & Collect orders.

🔧 To do so:

  • (If you are a distributor) Select the relevant company

  • Go to the Click & Collect tab

  • Click on Settings

⚙️ In this section, you can choose who will have access to order management for Click & Collect.

If you choose “Distributor”:
➡️ The “Orders” tab will appear in the distributor’s Click & Collect section, allowing them to manage the orders.

If you choose “Client”:
➡️ Only the client will be able to view and manage the orders.
