The first time an STM user logs on, a dedicated page enables them to initialize their password. This feature is specifically designed for newly-created STM users without a badge number. It enables them to define their password autonomously, facilitating their access to the STM system without external intervention. Once logged in, users can then associate their badge with their account, guaranteeing secure, personalized access to machines.
Here's an example:
Creation of the STM user here having the login (user ID) 'Tuto-ENG'.
The operator goes to the machine.
He clicks on “Log in with a username”.
Click on "Initialize your password".
The operator must enter his User ID (given to him by his manager, distributor, etc.), then initialize his password.
Confirm. The password will be saved for the user. The user will then be able to connect to the machine indefinitely with his or her login and password.
Users can assign their badge directly to their account.
