With the transition to STM V5, the old password is replaced by a 6-character PIN code.
During the first login, the user must initialize their PIN code. Once this step has been validated, they can assign their badge to their user account.
đ PIN Code Initialization
The user logs in using their identifier.
Their identifier is filled in automatically and cannot be modified, in order to avoid input errors.
A request to initialize the PIN code is then displayed on the screen.
The user must:
enter a 6-character PIN code;
validate the entry.
Once validated, the PIN code is saved.
This PIN code is personal and confidential. It permanently replaces the old password and will be requested during future logins, depending on the userâs permissions.
đȘȘ Badge Assignment
After the PIN code has been validated, a new page is displayed and offers the user the option to assign their badge.
The user can choose to assign their badge or skip this step.
If they wish to assign their badge, they must:
click on âPresent my badgeâ;
present their badge in front of the reader;
wait for confirmation of the assignment.
Once the badge has been recognized, it is automatically associated with the user account.
The badge can then be used for future logins.
