Requirements for carrying out restocking on the machine:
To carry out restocking on the machine, your STM user role must be configured as ‘Restocker’ or ‘Expert Restocker’. Here are the details of the permissions associated with each role:
Replenisher: This role allows you to carry out single-unit replenishments only.
Expert Replenisher: In addition to single-unit replenishments, this role allows you to carry out advanced replenishments.
I-Single-unit refill
To carry out a single-unit refill, scan your badge at the machine and then click on “single-unit refill”.
To find your product, enter its name in the search bar and select it. The number to the left of the product tells you how many units need to be restocked relative to the planned total. For example, “1/1” means that the machine is configured to hold a single unit of this screwdriver, and that it is currently empty. You must therefore add one unit to top up the stock.
The turret will then rotate and the hatch will open. You can place your product inside and close the hatch. The restocking of this item is then complete.
II – Advanced restocking
Prerequisite:
To carry out advanced restocking, ensure you have the “Expert Restocker” role on your STM user profile.
As with single-unit restocking, swipe your badge to log in to the machine. Then, click on “Advanced restocking”.
You will then be taken to the advanced restocking home page. If the page is greyed out, open the left-hand door of the machine to carry out the restocking. You can then scroll through the items to find the one you wish to restock or search for it using the search bar as shown below.
You can then click on your product. You will then see the colour of the compartment(s) containing the product. You may also notice that the item is not currently present in the machine (0/1).
Click on the product again. You can then complete your selection by placing the product in the appropriate slots. If you cannot see the slot where you need to place your item in the view on the left, click on ‘Slot to fill’ at the bottom left. The turret will rotate to bring the slot into view.
In the example below, we have used the “Slot to fill” function to rotate the carousel. The slot is now visible. You can fill the slot either by clicking on it or by clicking on “Fill selection”.
The box is now filled (1/1). The colour of the box is also solid rather than hatched, indicating that the box is filled. You can then view a summary of your actions in the “Changes” tab at the top right of the screen, as shown below. Once you have finished filling in the cells, you can click “Confirm changes”.
You can also continue filling in the boxes by returning to the “Catalogue” tab. Please note that the “Empty” tab allows you to view only those items with empty boxes. Finally, the “Selection” tab allows you to select an area and fill it in, as shown in the example below.
