Options available depend on your subscription plan.
Contract Value is an enhanced filtering system to help suppliers pinpoint the most relevant business opportunities, particularly those tenders valued below the official national thresholds. These smaller opportunities are often unique and harder to find, but are now easily accessible in your monitoring.
The Contract Value Filter
The Contract Value filter included three distinct, detailed value ranges. This change applies to both the Explore page and the Guided/Advanced Modes for creating Monitoring Profiles.
Filter Options
The new Contract Value filter provides these three selectable options:
Above EU threshold: Tenders valued above the European Union's official procurement threshold.
Above national threshold and below EU threshold: Tenders valued above the country's official threshold but below the EU's threshold.
Below national threshold: Tenders valued below the country's official threshold.
Key Filter Behaviour
Multi-Selection: You can select one, two, or all three options simultaneously.
Minimum Selection: You must always have at least one Contract Value option selected.
Pre-Selection: When you access the Explore page or create a new Monitoring Profile in Guided Mode, all three options are pre-selected by default.
Unknown Thresholds: Tenders where the system cannot determine the specific threshold will always be included in your search results, regardless of which of the three options you select.
How old Threshold filters were updated
To ensure you did not miss out on relevant opportunities, if you previously used Threshold filters, these were automatically updated to align with the new Contract Value filter structure:

You now have full control to adjust the Contract Value settings in your Monitoring Profiles at any time via Guided Mode or Advanced Mode.
By default, all three Contract Value notification options are selected for all new profiles created within the Mercell Bidding platform, including AI-generated profiles.
If you have a migrated profile transferred from a different Mercell system, it is recommended to review the Contract Value settings for your profile(s) to ensure your preferred selections are applied and align with your needs.
