We know that having clear, immediate visibility into your billing is essential for your Finance and Operations teams. To provide full transparency and eliminate the need to contact Support for basic billing queries, you can now view, track, and download your entire invoice history directly within the Mercell platform.
This self-service feature ensures you always know exactly what you are paying for and the current status of your accounts.
Invoices are issued on an annual basis, covering a standard 12-month billing cycle.
Accessing Your Invoice History
You can locate your billing records by navigating to Settings > Organisation management > Invoice history.
Permissions: To access this tab, your user role must include the View and download invoices permission.
Privacy: For security, you can only view and download data related to your own specific legal entity.
Understanding Your Invoice Data
The Invoice history page provides a comprehensive list of all invoices and credit memos related to your active subscription packages and add-ons.
To ensure accuracy, the data on this page is synchronised nightly. This means the portal will display your invoice history up to the previous day (e.g., if you check on 21 January, you will see all records generated up to 20 January).
For Invoices, you will see:
Invoice number
Invoice period (Start and End dates)
Due date
Amount excluding VAT (Net amount)
Status: Clearly marked as Unpaid, Partially paid, or Fully paid.
For Credit Memos, you will see:
Credit memo number
Amount excluding VAT (Net amount)
Status: Marked as Credit.
Credit memos do not display start/end or due dates
Managing and Downloading Files
The interface is designed to help you quickly find and retrieve the documents you need for your financial records.
Downloading: Simply click the Download action next to any invoice or credit memo to instantly save the PDF file to your device.
Sorting and Grouping: Your documents are automatically grouped together. You can sort the table chronologically by "Due date" (for credit memos, the system uses the 'last modified date' to sort them correctly within this column).
Filtering: Use the status filters to quickly isolate Unpaid invoices or view applied Credits.
