Household waste & bulk waste

Updated this week

How to dispose of household waste and large items.

Proper waste disposal keeps the building clean and safe. Follow the steps below.

Household waste

  1. Use the designated containers
Dispose of general waste, paper, glass and plastic in the appropriate municipal or building containers.

  2. Close garbage bags properly
Tie bags securely to prevent pests and unpleasant odors.

  3. Do not leave waste next to containers
If a container is full, use another nearby container and contact the municipality.

  4. Follow local waste rules
Always check your municipality’s guidelines for waste collection or underground containers.

Bulk waste

  1. Do not leave large items in common areas
Furniture, mattresses or appliances are not allowed in hallways, stairwells or near waste areas.

  2. Bring items to a recycling point
Take bulky waste to the nearest recycling or waste disposal station.
