How to use the login and sign up process for jamDoughnut including how to reset password and change mobile numbers.

This article is about how to sign up and Log in to the App. We have included some frequently asked questions as well.

How to Sign Up with JamDoughnut

When you open the App choose if you are logging in or signing up.

Sign up - Email Address

Enter your email address, and check the relevant boxes regarding to marketing permissions and JamDoughnut Terms and Conditions.

Marketing permissions will allow us to notify you through emails regarding any special promotions and marketing campaigns

Sign up - Magic Link Email

A email will be sent to your inbox above, this is to verify your account, and to verify your device to keep you logged into the app.

Find the email in your inbox, and click onto Log in to JamDoughnut. This should take you to the next step.

Please make sure you are doing this on a device with the JamDoughnut app installed. This link expires after 30 minutes or 1 log in.

Sign up - Name

Please enter your First Name and Last Name to continue. This will not affect any bank accounts or official transactions, these are used so we can identify our users, and find user information if you even need any help.

Sign up - Referral Code

Enter any referral codes you may have. These will add a bonus to the user who has referred you once you Cash Out for the first time.

If you do not have a code, feel free to continue without entering anything.

Sign up - Phone Number

Once you have confirmed your email please enter your mobile phone number. We only accept UK mobile numbers for accounts.

The format of the number should look like +441234567890.

Please make sure you have the +44 in front, and no 0 before your number.

Sign up - SMS code

Find the SMS code we have sent you, and add it onto this page.

Sign up - Passcode

Add a passcode to help protect your account. This is a numerical pin ranging from 4 to 6 values. Confirm this code again on the next page.

Sign up - Biometrics

You can also set up any biometrics your device may offer to help you quickly get in and out of your account, without needing to type your passcode every time.

Sign up - Complete

You are now all set to start enjoying our app! Feel free to explore the huge selection of brands we offer. Hope you can enjoy spending and saving with JamDoughnut!!


How To Log In to JamDoughnut

You will stay logged into your account unless you manually logged out, or if you are trying to sign in with a new device.

Log in - Email

Enter your email and click onto the magic link in your inbox to verify your identity and to register your device to be trusted in our systems, so you will not need another email on this device, unless you manually log out.

Log in - Passcode/Biometrics

Enter your passcode you have created during sign up. If you have forgotten this, please press forgot my passcode to reset your passcode.

And this should let you back into our app, to continue spend and saving!


Frequently Asked Questions

Please note you can use the Chat function to access these articles, and to message a member of our team by clicking the icon found on the bottom right throughout the Sign up and Log in Process.

Sign up - my details are wrong

Wrong email address

If your email address is wrong then after sending you an email you will have the opportunity to go back to the last page, and re-enter your email address.

Wrong mobile number

If your phone number is wrong then after sending you an SMS you will have the opportunity to go back to the last page, and re-enter your phone number.

If you would like to change any of these details after your account has been created, please send us a message at help@jamdoughnut.com, and we would be happy to get this resolved for you.

Cannot Receive SMS (Server Error)

Sometimes the SMS may experience some lags in the server and that can cause a delay or the message might not be sent at all.

Please give some time between resend attempts, as that could give it some time to arrive, and it prevents the system from overloading. This may also cause a server error message.

If you receive any other error messages that is preventing you from signing up, please contact us and we will look to get this resolved for you.

Email already used

If your email is already used then after you enter it we will allow you to choose this email and proceed directly to login if the account has been authenticated.

If it has not been authenticated you will then continue with the existing authentication process as described above.

Change your passcode

If you have forgotten this, please press forgot my passcode. This will reset your log in journey, and allow you to recreate a pass code for logging in.

Not Receiving Magic Link Email

Make sure that our emails are not in your spam folders, or have been marked as spam in the past.

Two possible reasons are due to a full inbox, or if there is a delay in the internet servers causing emails to not arrive immediately

If you cannot receive a Magic Link Email, please email help@jamdoughnut.com, and we can send you a link to help access your account.

Referrals

If you forgot to enter a referral code that you have, please send us a message at help@jamdoughnut.com, and we will get this added for you onto your account.

If for some reason, the page is not letting you advance without entering a referral code, please try our admin code, 3NMT and try to advance again.

Account Does Not Exist

On the rare occasion where it is showing that entering your email at login shows that an account does not exist, there may be a chance that your account has been set as inactive due to suspected or reported fraudulent and unusual activity.

Please reach out to our support team and we will be happy to help you with this.
