I have a query about crypto – who can help?
Crypto accounts at IG Markets Singapore are managed by Independent Reserve. For any crypto-related queries, you'll need to contact Independent Reserve directly.
There are two ways to do this from within the app:
Account page: Go to your Account > scroll to Support > tap Contact IR
Help & FAQs: Go to Help & FAQs > Crypto (Independent Reserve) > open a relevant article > tap Get IR Support
Both options are only visible if you have an active crypto account.
Q1. How to deposit USD to your account?
On your dashboard, click Deposit and scroll down to USD
Tap on deposit > TT and you will be able to see Independent Reserve's bank details
Follow the prompts on your banking app and enter our bank details, as well as your unique Reference Number
Tap "I made a deposit" after you have completed the transfer
For deposits via a DBS bank account, there is a USD 2.50 transaction fee. For all other banks, a USD 15 fee will apply.
Q2. I encountered a "Enter valid account number" error when depositing USD via my DBS bank account. How do I resolve this issue?
The error will show up if you are trying to add the bank account as a SWIFT transfer. For DBS transfers specifically, you will need to add our bank account number under local bank account instead.
Q3. How to instantly deposit SGD using FAST?
To instantly deposit SGD into your Independent Reserve account using FAST, follow these steps:
On your dashboard, go to Deposit > Quick Deposit.
Select FAST as your deposit method.
Log in to your FAST-compatible banking app to add Independent Reserve as a payee to your bank account.
Follow the prompts of your banking app to enter our banking details, as well as your unique Reference Number
Tap "I made a deposit" after you have completed the transfer
Your deposit will usually be credited to your Independent Reserve account instantly. For deposits above SGD 1000, it will be free but for deposits under SGD 1000, there will be a SGD 2.50 processing fee.
Q4. What are the SGD withdrawal fees?
Withdrawals are supported up to SGD 200,000, with a SGD 1.50 fee for amounts below SGD 200,000 and a flat SGD 20 fee for withdrawals at or above that threshold.
Q5. How to deposit SGD via PayNow?
To instantly deposit SGD into your Independent Reserve account using PayNow, follow these steps:
On your dashboard, go to Deposit > Quick Deposit.
Select PayNow as your deposit method.
Launch your PayNow-compatible banking app and select the PayNow function. You may either scan the QR code or enter our UEN on your banking app.
Follow the prompts to complete your deposit.
Tap "I made a deposit" after you have completed the transfer
Your deposit usually will be credited to your Independent Reserve account instantly. Withdrawals are not available via PayNow.
