Third-party deposits are strictly not allowed.
Funds sent to your IG Markets account from a third party will not be credited, except when they come from a joint bank account in your name. If that is the case, we have to verify your joint bank account.
How to return funds to the third party source
For us to process the return of funds back to the third party source, we require you to provide us with the following documents:
A copy of the bank statement (PDF), clearly stating the full name, bank account number and the bank's logo of the third party.
A copy of the transaction history (screenshot), clearly showing the third-party deposit amount, deposit date, transfer in to IG Markets and bank account number.
How to verify a joint bank account
If the account is a joint bank account, we require you to provide us with the following document(s) for verification:
Your bank statement (PDF) which contains your full name, bank account number and the bank's logo.
Your transaction history (screenshot), clearly showing your deposit amount, deposit date, transfer in to IG Markets and bank account number.
Do note that the bank account number on the bank statement and proof of deposit has to match in both scenarios.
