Your Heating Oil Card is a digital prepaid Mastercard. You can use it to pay a heating oil supplier that takes Mastercard, online or by phone. It cannot be used in person.

Pay by phone if your bill is more than the balance on your card. Online payments only go through when the total is at or below your balance.

Ask them to charge your Heating Oil Card first, for its full balance. Have your card number, expiry date, and CVV ready

Pay anything left on the bill with your own debit or credit card

Pay online when your total bill is the same as or less than the balance on your card. At the checkout:

Enter the card number, expiry date, and CVV shown on your card screen

1. Choose Mastercard as the payment method
2. Enter the card number, expiry date, and CVV shown on your card screen

The total can't be more than your card balance, even by 1p, or the payment will be declined. If your bill is larger, pay by phone instead.
