Basic Steps for trouble shooting the Elios 2

Activation Failed Message:

  1. Internet Access for Activation:

    • Have you ensured that the Android device used for activation has access to the Internet?

    • Did you encounter any issues during the activation procedure, and if so, can you provide details?

Black Screen with Connection Bar:

  1. Component Connection Check:

    • Have you verified the connection of every component, including the USB cable?

    • Are there any signs of a bad contact on either end of the connections?

Blinking Progress Bar with Video Display:

  1. Order of Component Activation:

    • Did you follow the correct order when turning on the aircraft, remote controller, and Cockpit?

    • Have you observed the red and green LEDs blinking alternately on the aircraft and the green LED on the remote controller?

Bad Video Quality:

  1. Signal Level Check:

    • Have you checked the signal meters on the screen to ensure a proper signal level from the aircraft?

    • Are there any obstacles or interference that might affect the signal quality?

  2. Android Device Storage:

    • Have you checked the available storage on the Android device? Insufficient storage (less than 1GB remaining) can impact video quality.

    • Are there any background applications or processes affecting the performance of the device?

Slow Video with Latency:

  1. Performance-Impacting Software:

    • Have you identified and shut down any screen recording software, background processes, or widgets (e.g., on-screen CPU meters) that may be affecting performance?

    • Is there sufficient available storage on the Android device (more than 1GB) for optimal application performance?

Slow Aircraft Firmware Upgrade:

  1. Proximity and Signal Strength:

    • Is the aircraft in close proximity to the remote controller during the firmware upgrade?

    • Have you experienced any signal issues that might be slowing down the upgrade process?

  2. Cockpit Restart:

    • Have you tried quitting and restarting Cockpit before attempting the upgrade again?

    • Did you encounter any error messages or issues during the upgrade process?

Missing Flight Videos:

  1. Automatic Deletion Due to Storage:

    • Were the flight videos automatically deleted when there were 4GB of recorded videos or more on the tablet?

    • Have you considered saving videos in a different location to prevent automatic deletion?
