How to Withdraw AUD (Australian Dollars) From Your Coinmetro Account

Ready to cash out? Withdrawing AUD from Coinmetro to your bank account is quick and easy. Follow this step-by-step guide to complete your withdrawal successfully and securely.

✅ Step 1: Verify Your Account

Before you can withdraw funds, your Coinmetro account must be fully verified. This is a requirement for all transactions on the platform.

Verification includes:

  • Completing your identity check (submitting personal information and a valid ID document)

  • Submitting your residential address.

Simply log into your account and complete the verification process if you haven't already.

💰 Step 2: Go to the Withdrawal Section

From your Coinmetro Dashboard, click on Withdraw.

  • On Desktop/Browser: You'll find the "Withdraw" button on the main dashboard.

  • On the Mobile App: From the home screen, tap on “Withdraw.”

⚠️ Important: You can only withdraw to a bank account in your name. Third-party payments are not supported.

💱 Step 3: Select AUD as Your Currency

From the dropdown menu, select AUD as the currency you’d like to withdraw.

💸 Step 4: Select Your Withdrawal Method

Select the method that you'd like to withdraw AUD with. Currently, we only offer the NPP (bank transfer) withdrawal method for AUD.

🏠 Step 5: Add Your Personal & Bank Details

If it’s your first time withdrawing:

  • If you haven't already, you’ll be asked to enter your residential address.

  • Then, enter your bank account details.

If you've saved bank info previously, simply select it by pressing "My Accounts".

💬 Optional: Add a reference note like “Withdrawal to my Revolut account.”

💶 Step 6: Enter the Withdrawal Amount

Type the amount you'd like to withdraw or use the slider/min/max buttons. Then, press Continue when done.

⚠️ Make sure the amount covers the withdrawal fee. If it doesn’t, the system won’t let you proceed.

🔐 Step 7: Review & Confirm the Withdrawal

Double-check all your details. Then:

  1. Click Continue.

  2. Review the summary: amount, fees, and bank info.

  3. If 2FA is enabled, enter your 6-digit code to confirm.

Your withdrawal request is now submitted!

📧 First-Time Withdrawals: Confirm Your Destination

For your first withdrawal to a new bank account:

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email titled:
    “💸 Funds on the move”.

  • Click the Confirm button in the email.

Once confirmed, the withdrawal will be processed.

📥 Check your Spam/Junk folder if you don’t see it right away.

💾 Save Your Bank Details (Optional)

Want to speed things up next time? You can save and name each bank account after confirming a withdrawal. That way, you won’t need to re-enter details in the future.

  4. Click Cancel.

⚠️ Once a withdrawal is approved and sent, it can no longer be canceled. If you're unable to cancel a withdrawal from your side, please contact customer support.
