Insights uses two seat types: Creator Seats and Viewer Seats.
Creator Seat
Creator Seats can use every part of Insights:
View every dashboard
Build custom dashboards with the drag-and-drop builder
Use the Insights Agent
Save Insights Agent answers as dashboard tiles
Configure scheduled delivery (Email, SFTP, Webhooks) and alerts
Typically held by whoever owns reporting in the group — for example a Commercial Director, Marketing Manager, or Revenue Manager.
Viewer Seat
Viewer Seats are read-only:
View dashboards and tiles shared with them
Receive scheduled reports
Viewer Seats cannot build custom dashboards, use the Insights Agent, or configure exports and alerts.
Typically held by General Managers, property leads, and other stakeholders who read reports but do not build them.

Adding seats
We recommend that every account holds at least one Creator Seat. Creator Seats let teams query account data and share it with Viewer Seats, which makes them valuable for the whole team.
