How to enable the AI Agent
The AI Agent is enabled by Bookboost on a per-account basis. There is no self-serve activation.
Step 1. Talk to your Account Manager or Bookboost Support. Tell them you want to add the AI Agent.
Step 2. Commercial terms. The AI Agent is an add-on to your Unified Inbox subscription. Your Account Manager will share pricing and terms with you.
Step 3. Bookboost enables the feature on your account. This typically happens within a few days.
Step 4. Onboarding session. A walkthrough covering how to set up your first AI Agent, what to put in the knowledge base, and how to configure handover rules.
What you can do once enabled
Create your first AI Agent (see Creating a new AI Agent)
Add knowledge items to your agent (see How the AI Agent learns)
Set assignment rules for channels and conversation types
Configure handover and escalation behaviour
What to plan for before going live
Knowledge base preparation. The single biggest lever on AI Agent quality is the knowledge you provide. Have your common guest questions documented before the onboarding call, and have your website address and any policy documents to hand — an agent can be filled from those directly.
Tone alignment. Decide whether the AI Agent voice should match your front desk style or your brand marketing style. They are often different.
Handover rules. Decide which conversations should always go to a human.
