Bookboost invoices arrive by email at your registered billing address, not in the platform. Each one carries a Pay Online link that takes you to a secure Stripe page, and the bank details if you would rather transfer manually.
You will receive two: the subscription fee at the start of the billing period, and the messaging usage charges at the end, once the usage has been calculated.
If an invoice has not arrived
Check your spam folder first. Invoice emails are sometimes filtered. Adding finance@bookboost.io to your safe senders list prevents it happening again.
Check which address is registered. If you are not sure what your billing email is, or an invoice you expected is missing, email finance@bookboost.io.
What is on the invoice
Invoice number. The unique reference for that invoice. You need it for bank transfers and for any query.
Issue date and due date. When it was generated, and when payment has to be complete.
Line items. What is being charged, for example a licence fee or messaging usage.
Subtotal, VAT, and total due.
Payment options. The Pay Online link and the bank transfer details.
Paying online
Click Pay Online in the invoice. It opens a secure Stripe payment page where you can:
Use a payment method already saved on your account.
Choose from the payment options Stripe offers at the time.
Save the method you used, so the next invoice is quicker.
This is the fastest route, and payment registers immediately.
Paying by bank transfer
The invoice includes everything you need to wire the payment.
Put the invoice number in the transfer description. Without it, our Finance team cannot match your payment to the right invoice, and it may show as outstanding.
Start the transfer well before the due date. Bank transfers are processed manually and can take a few business days to register. Initiating one on the due date is likely to be late.
What this does not do
Invoices are not in the platform. They are emailed. There is no billing section in Bookboost to look them up.
Bank transfers are not instant. They are reconciled by hand, so allow days rather than minutes.
VAT depends on you, not us. Whether VAT is applied depends on your country and your VAT registration status. Ask Finance if the treatment on your invoice looks wrong.

Getting help
Open Help at the bottom of the left menu and choose Talk to Us, or email the Bookboost Finance team at finance@bookboost.io. Quote the invoice number if your question is about a specific charge.
