Connecting GuestRevu to Bookboost lets you send guest satisfaction surveys from your own post-stay campaigns, personalised per guest, instead of running a separate survey send from GuestRevu.
Setting it up means passing three pieces of information between your team, GuestRevu, and Bookboost. GuestRevu does the configuration on their side.
What you need first
Your GuestRevu API key. A long alphanumeric string, provided by GuestRevu, which authenticates the connection.
Your Bookboost Property UUID. Not the same thing as your numeric property ID. It looks like
xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx.Your property name as it appears in Bookboost, so the right property is connected.
Step 1: Send GuestRevu your API key
Email your GuestRevu API key to the GuestRevu Integrations team at integrations@guestrevu.com, copying support@bookboost.io. Your Customer Success Manager can advise if you are unsure.
Never share an API key outside the official integration teams, and never in a public forum or a shared inbox others can read.
Step 2: Find and share your Property UUID
Log in to Bookboost.
Go to Settings > Integrations.
Select your property from the dropdown at the top.
Copy the UUID from the property details.
If you cannot find it, email support@bookboost.io and we will look it up for you.
Step 3: GuestRevu completes their side
With the API key and the UUID, GuestRevu configures the integration. They may also ask for:
The Bookboost base API endpoint:
https://api.bookboost.ioYour property name as it appears in Bookboost.
They confirm when it is live.
Step 4: Add the survey link to your campaigns
Open the campaign or Journey you want the survey in, usually a post-stay message.
Edit the email template and insert the GuestRevu survey link, as a button or a hyperlink.
Save and activate.
The link is personalised per guest from the data passed between the two platforms.
What this does not do
Configuration is not self-service. GuestRevu sets it up on their side, so the timeline depends on them rather than on Bookboost.
Survey responses stay in GuestRevu. Bookboost sends the invitation. Scores and comments are read in GuestRevu, not in your campaign reports.
The UUID is not the property ID. Sending the numeric ID by mistake is the most common reason setup stalls.
What to do next
Once GuestRevu confirms the integration is live, send yourself a test on a real reservation and follow the link before the campaign goes to guests.
Getting help
Open Help at the bottom of the left menu and choose Talk to Us, or email support@bookboost.io. Include your property name and where you are stuck.
