Goki issues the PIN, Bookboost delivers it. Once the two are connected, a guest's door code goes out through your own campaigns by email, SMS, or WhatsApp, in your own template, rather than as a separate message from Goki.
More about Goki at gokitech.com.
Before you start
Bookboost must be integrated with your PMS. Without it the reservation data the codes attach to is not there.
Goki Autopilot must generate the access. PINs are sent when the access is generated, so in Goki Settings > Autopilot enable either When a reservation is checked in > generate access or x hours before arrival > generate access. With neither enabled, nothing reaches Bookboost.
Connecting Goki to Bookboost
In Goki, go to Settings > Marketplace > All apps.
Click Connect on the Bookboost card.
Goki generates a unique API key. Save it.
Send the key to your Customer Success contact at Bookboost.
We complete the setup and confirm when it is ready.
The tokens to use in campaigns
{{room.access_token}}for the guest's room.{{reservation_gates.access_tokens}}for common areas.
Turn off Goki's own emails
Goki can send its own reservation detected, pin generated, and access changed emails. If you are sending codes through Bookboost, disable those cards in Goki Settings > Autopilot, or your guests receive the same information twice from two different senders.
Checking a code was delivered
Go to Profiles > Customers, search for the guest by name, phone number, or email, click the eye icon on the right of the row, then open Campaigns.
What this does not do
It will not work without a PMS integration. Goki alone is not enough.
Nothing sends if Autopilot is not generating access. This is the most common reason codes never arrive, and it is set in Goki rather than in Bookboost.
Duplicate emails are not prevented automatically. Bookboost cannot switch off Goki's own messages. You have to disable them yourself.
Bookboost does not generate or revoke codes. It delivers what Goki has issued.
What to do next
If your locks are from a different provider, see Seam integration, which covers Assa Abloy, August, Salto KS, TTLock, and others.
