All new patient records sent to Atlas Checker from Titan require patient matching on the first time it is received, this is to allow the transfer of the data from Titan to the Atlas Patient record creating any relevant clinical checks and updating order statuses.

Please note all Care home patients must have the relevant patient tag on Titan to allow the data share between the two systems.

To match the patient records follow this process;

1. Log in to Atlas Checker and select the patients tile displayed on the main menu screen. A number will be displayed on the tile to indicate any profiles which are awaiting to be matched.

2. The patients screen is split into two sections, Ready to match which will display any profiles that require matching and Atlas Patients displays any Atlas profiles which have no match. To match a profile double-click on the residents name within the ready to match section, the search for the Atlas record surname followed by the forename.

If profile selected during the search doesn't match the fields will be highlighted in red. Please ensure this information is reviewed before matching the patient should the fields indicate a discrepancy.

The name, date of birth and NHS number should always be the the same. To match the records click ok.

If the resident is not a complete match for example the address differs however the name, DOB and NHS number is matched the system will prompt you to confirm if you wish to proceed with the match to confirm click yes to approve or click no to review the available options again.

Repeat this process for any profiles within the ready to match section. Once the profiles are match the data will be sent back to pick section within Titan to allow for dispensing.

In the event the patient records are matched incorrectly please contact the helpdesk immediately.
