In this article we will walk through the process of changing the administration times for a home. To complete this information we will need the current time and the new time the home wish to change from.
Login to CAPA and go to the care home, from here select ‘View Home Details’ from the right hand-side.
2. Once you have clicked onto the tab, it will open the care home group details page. This is where you will see a list of all the units within the care home. You will need to double click onto each unit to edit the administration round times.
3. Once you are in the unit, you will need to select the systems tab at the top of the screen. This will show you the current administration times in the home.
4. To change the time from 09:00am to 10:00am for example, you will need to double click onto the 09:00am time, which will open up the following screen. In the screen you will need to add the new time you wish to change the round to, once done press OK and Yes to confirm the change.
This will need to be done for each unit if needed.
5. Once you have completed the time change from the 'View Home Details' screen, you will need to close all the tabs and select a unit from the drop down list and select ‘Home Administration’.
This will open another screen, where you will need to select ‘Administration Times’.
6. On this screen you will see the current administration times alongside how many items are given during that round. To change this, you will need to click the round time, highlight all the items by selecting shift + scroll then enter the new time at the bottom of the screen and press update.

Tips
The administration time may not update for paracetamol items as they need to be 4 hours apart in their schedule, in this case you will need to advise the care home to manually update all the paracetamol items.
