The average care home will have four main medication round times, morning, afternoon, evening and night with exception of some medication, however its expected that with time items will be moved outside of these rounds. Its important for your home(s) to have the correct round times to minimise missing entries and to allow staff to complete them in a timely manor.

In some circumstances the home(s) may need to move the medication round times back in to sync and they can request this to be complete in bulk by requesting a PP60 form. The PP60 form is available on request from CAPA and allows the home to review all of the medication rounds they currently have and request the medication be moved back in to the round times best suited to them (excluding medication containing paracetamol which will need to be completed manually).

To print the PP60 form follow this process

1. Search for the Care home you would like to print the form for, view the care home dashboard.

2. The form must be printed per unit. Select a unit from the unit drop down box located on the top left hand side of the screen, then double click home administration from the action box on the right hand side of the screen.

3.Highlight, administration times and select ok on the pop up box.

4. Select print next to time change request form and email the form to the relevant email address with a secure password (repeat steps 2 to 4 for each unit).

5. The form must be completed and signed by the care home and sent back to the pharmacy before any actions can be completed.
