The monthly order is placed by the home using the Atlas PCS device every cycle. The order confirms the monthly medication which is required for each patient. The Care Home screen has been designed to give you maximize visibility of a overall view of your care homes details including active patients, orders and order status and monthly prescription percentages received.
The Care Home tab gives you an overview of the progress of the monthly orders for all of your homes. To view the current status of a particular care home or care home unit, either click the cross next to the care home name, alternatively, double click the care home name to view a specific order.
Days into cycle
This column displays the amount of days the home are into the current cycle. It is best practice for the home to place the next monthly order between day one and day eight of the current monthly cycle this to allow enough time for ordering, processing, dispensing and delivery.
Monthly order placed
The Monthly order placed column will display a tick once the order has been placed on the Atlas PCS Device and downloaded to Atlas Pharmacy system (all items on the monthly must accounted for by confirming if the items are required or not required before the device will allow them to confirm and place the order on the device).
Monthly items received
Monthly items received displays the quantity of prescription received for the monthly order placed by the Care Homes.
Monthly % received
This column displays an overview of the percentage of the monthly prescription which have been received and processed by your pharmacy.
Monthly Status summary report and outstanding monthly prescription list
The monthly status summary report is a breakdown of every item requested on the monthly order by the home and the current status. The outstanding list, is a list of all items which have been order but not yet received.
To produce the monthly status summary or the list of outstanding monthly prescriptions for the Care home/GP follow this process
1. View the Care home tab from the tool bar located at the top of the Atlas Pharmacy system.
2. Double click on the home you want to produce the report.
3. Right click on the relevant unit and select status summary of monthly order or list of outstanding items for the care home, input the relevant email address and a secure password. The report will then be generated.
