Resetting the your Atlas device has the same effect as restarting your computer, it will reboot the device and normally is the quick fix to any small technical issues that you may be having with Atlas.
There are a number of reasons why you may need to reset your Atlas device:
The Atlas screen/keyboard has frozen
The Atlas will not synchronise or is stuck trying to synchronise for over five minutes
If your Atlas is low on battery β turning the Atlas off will mean that it will recharge more quickly
If the Atlas is running particularly slowly in general or on a particular screen
To reset the Atlas device follow this process:
1. You need to press and hold down the power button device until the screen goes black, this should take around ten seconds. Once this is done, leave the device for a couple of seconds and then press the power button again to start the device. Log in as usual.
If this does not solve your problem then please contact the help desk for support for more information click here: Help desk and support information
Note: If you reset your Atlas device when you have medication in the pot which has not yet been confirmed this medication will need to be re-potted as the data would not have been saved before the reset.
