Setting an appropriate default language is crucial for properties attracting international guests, ensuring that guests accessing your site default to a language that makes them comfortable if their local language is not available.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Navigate to Settings → Languages in your Amenitiz account.

  2. Go to the section labelled Default language for your website/booking engine.

  3. Select the desired default language from the available options: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Catalan, Greek, or Croatian.

  4. Click on Change default to save the changes.

  5. If additional translations are needed, navigate to Settings → Translations to manually add and publish the desired translations.

Note: These changes apply only to the default viewing language when a guest accesses your website or Booking Engine, and does not automatically translate content.
