This article explains how to edit the meta titles and meta descriptions for your website pages in Amenitiz.
Updating metadata is useful when:
You want to improve your search visibility
You rebrand or refresh your content
You need to reflect new offers or property changes

These elements appear in search engine results and not in the pages of your website
These fields determine how your site appears in search engine results, helping guests understand your property before clicking. Metadata, also known as "meta-elements" or "meta tags", are part of the code that constitutes the pages of your institution's site. They are used to reference the different pages of your site.
There are several types, and Amenitiz offers you to manage yourself:
Meta-titles,
Meta-descriptions.

When you search for "Amenitiz" in the bar of your search engine, you will come to this:
All search engines work in the same way, they all have a meta-title and a meta-description. The objective is that these elements best describe the content of your page
How to change the meta-titles and meta-descriptions
Click Website in the sidebar of your Amenitiz administrator area.
A submenu will appear, select the SEO tab.
You can then enter the meta title and meta description for each page of your website.
Metadata can be edited in all activated languages.
💡 Tip
It is important to note that a meta-title must be between 40 and 60 characters long. And for good reason, if your meta-title is too short, you will not stand out from your competitors. If it exceeds 60 characters, it will be too long and the end of your title will be truncated by periods of suspension. Similarly, your meta-description must be between 150 and 200 characters long.
How to add SEO to your photos
You can add alt text to any photo you upload to your website.
Go to Website > Pictures.
Click the photo where you want to add alt text.
Click Edit alt text.
Enter a short description of what appears in the image. (It does not need to be a full sentence. You can use a few relevant keywords that clearly describe the photo).
You can also add alt text to the photos used in your accommodations.
Make sure to add the alt text in all languages activated on your website, then click Save.
Warning
The translation is not automatic, you will have to do it for each active language.
