Introduction to Menu Management

Menus are essential for website navigation, and Amenitiz provides tools to customize them efficiently. Understanding how to edit and organize your menus ensures a seamless user experience.

  1. Go to Website → Menus

  2. Click the three dots (...) next to the menu you want to edit and select Edit a menu.

  3. Editing and Adding Items:

    • To modify an item: Click the three dots, then select modify to rename it and update the label.

    • To add an item: Click Add menu item, assign its link to an existing page or use a custom URL, and enter a title.

  4. Reorder Items Use drag-and-drop functionality to adjust their order for better organization.

  5. Create a Sub-menu Item Indent an item slightly to place it as a sub-option beneath another. Guests will see it as nested under the main menu.

  6. Save Changes Click Save to finalize your updates; unsaved changes will be lost. Note: Menus are designed to adapt to different screen sizes. On smaller screens, they will reflow or wrap to optimize display, but reducing items can prevent wrapping issues.

Delete a page

  • Navigate to Website → Pages

  • Find the page you wish to delete and click the three dots

  • Select Remove to permanently delete the page

  • Confirm the page removal when prompted

Warning

Deleting a page is irreversible. Be sure you want to remove the page before confirming.

Common Issues and Troubleshooting

  1. Saving Changes: Always double-check and click Save after editing the menu to ensure changes are applied.

  2. Display and Wrapping: Evaluate the number of menu items carefully to optimize the display, especially for smaller screens.
