After an application is returned to the facility following the relevant Garda and Organisation checks, the facility should have all of the relevant information to decide on the application i.e. Complete the application or reject the application.
To review and reject the application following the relevant checks, please see the instructions below:
1. Accessing Applications
Navigate to the Applications section from the left-hand menu.
You will see a list of all Vetting applications submitted for your facility.
2. Reviewing the Application
Click "View" next to the application you wish to review. The status of the application should be 'Awaiting Decision'.

Disclosure Section

3. Rejecting an Application
It is up to the facility to review the information provided and make an informed decision on either completing an application or rejecting an application. If rejecting an application, please see the steps below:
Click on Reject
You will be prompted to provide a reason for rejection

Click Reject
4. Notification to Applicant
The applicant will be informed via email that their application has been rejected including the reason for this rejection.
