In the 'Invigilate' screen, if a learner has completed their exam and it has updated successfully then you will see a green tick under the 'Exam status' column. If the status does not show a green tick then the responses have not yet uploaded.

If the exams all display a green tick, then please check the Results page to see if the results have come through.

If you don't see the results right away, please ensure you click the 'Reset filters' button on the top left side of the page to reset any filters you may have entered in a previous session.

If you are unable to see the results for your learners then the exams will have been pulled into Moderation.

What is moderation?

Moderation is a standard process for ensuring that marks or grades are awarded appropriately and consistently. As part of our standard quality review, some exams are randomly selected for moderation. EAL will manually check and review to ensure that everything is correct and in order before releasing the results.

Please note: exams that are launched for the first time will be always selected for moderation.

Our Exams Team checks exams in moderation every day, so any results you can't see right away will be released by the end of the working day.

If you find that a result has not shown up within 24 hours of the learners sitting the exam, please contact our Exams Team: exams@eal.org.uk so that we can look into this for you and advise further.
