Printing invigilation packs
After scheduling exams go to the ‘Invigilate’ tab.
This screen displays Keycodes (and PINs, if set) required to run an exam.
Please note: Exams will only appear in the invigilate screen when the exam is within 144 hours (6 days) of its scheduled date to take place.
To print the invigilation paperwork, first highlight the relevant exam by clicking on it. At the bottom of the page click ‘Print Invigilation Pack’.
The boxes in this window should remain ticked as they will add necessary information for the invigilation pack.
Downloading and printing invigilation packs provides you with all the information required to run the exams and helps you to seat candidates in order of candidate number in line with the requirements of EAL’s EAF1.
You are required to keep the invigilation packs for all exams run at your centre for 2 years.
Unlocking the exam
You can unlock exams from the invigilation screen.
Select the exam and click ‘Unlock’ after a candidate has entered the 'Keycode' and the state shows as ‘Locked for Invigilator’.
You can also set a 'PIN' by highlighting the required exam(s) and clicking ‘Set PIN’. This will generate a six character PIN which must be recorded (manually) and entered by the candidate directly after they have entered their Keycode.
