Introduction
Your Sana profile is your identity within the workspace. In Sana, this identity is synchronized directly from Workday to ensure accuracy and security.
When you first access Sana, you will notice that your profile information is already pre-filled. This is because Sana automatically pulls your name, email, and job title from your Workday employee profile during provisioning.
If any of this information is incorrect or needs updating, the change must be made in Workday - it will then be reflected in Sana automatically. No user (Member or Admin) is able to update this information directly within the Sana platform.
How to access your profile
Click on your profile picture (or initials) in the corner of the Sana interface.
Click Profile settings.
You will see your User Settings page with the three tabs described below.
Your account settings are organized into three tabs. Profile shows your synchronized account details (name, email, job title) from Workday. Connectors lets you view and manage your personal connections to third-party tools such as Gmail, Google Drive, or Salesforce. Privacy shows how your data is handled and what controls are available to you. Each tab is described in detail in the table below.

FAQ
Q: Why is my profile information already filled in?
A: Sana pulls your name, email, and job title directly from your Workday employee profile during provisioning via SCIM. This ensures your identity in Sana always matches your organization's records.
Q: How do I change my name or job title in Sana?
A: You cannot edit this information in Sana. Update your details in Workday and the change will sync to Sana automatically.
Q: How do I change my password?
A: Sana uses Single Sign-On (SSO) connected to Workday. You do not have a separate Sana password. To change your credentials, follow your company's standard procedure for your Workday/SSO account.
Q: Can I change my email address in Sana?
A: No. Your email is your unique identifier linked to Workday. If your email changes (for example, due to a name change), it must be updated in Workday first.
