Teams allow you and your colleagues to pool tips together into a shared pot, split among everyone on the team. This is useful if your workplace prefers a collective approach to tipping rather than individual tips. You can collect tips both individually and as part of a team, so there's no need to choose one or the other.
Creating a team is simple and takes just seconds.
Create a Team
Step 1 – Go to Team Tips
From the home screen, navigate to Team Tips, then tap the yellow + button in the bottom right corner.
Step 2 – Name your team
Tap Create team, give your team a name and tap Continue.
Step 3 – Enter your business details
Enter your business name and select your role from the drop-down menu, then tap Continue.
Step 4 – Accept the Terms & Conditions
Read and accept the Team Terms & Conditions. Your team will then be created and ready to go.
Delete a Team
From Team Tips, select the team you wish to delete. Scroll down and tap Delete this team, then Delete Team to confirm. You'll be asked to confirm your decision one final time – tap Delete to permanently remove the team.
Please note that once deleted, the team will no longer be able to receive tips or create team splits, and all team members will be immediately removed.
Teams that have received tips cannot be deleted!
For legal and compliance reasons, teams that have previously received tips cannot be deleted from the system. We're required to retain tip data for a set period, so even if a team is no longer in use, its records must be preserved.
If you no longer want a team to be visible or active, here's what to do:
Remove all members from the team via your dashboard or the app.
Once all members have been removed, contact us at team@urocked.com and let us know you'd like the team deactivated.
We'll transfer the team admin to ourselves, which will hide the team from your URocked app and effectively remove it from your account, keeping your interface clean and focused on only the teams you actively manage.
