Huel subscription orders are charged before they ship. Payment is taken at the point of renewal β before your order is packed or dispatched.
How Subscription Billing Works
Stage | Detail |
Payment taken | As soon as your subscription renews β usually between 2am and 5am on your renewal date |
Order processing | Once payment is successful, your order is passed to Huel's fulfilment team to be picked, packed, and shipped |
Shipping confirmation | You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your parcel leaves the warehouse |

Failed payment | If your payment fails, your subscription order will not process until the payment issue is resolved |
Update payment promptly | Keeping your payment details up to date helps avoid delays to your subscription |
