For most account configurations, managers are responsible for requesting feedback for team members' reviews. Your account may also allow reviewees to invite feedback from colleagues themselves. Administrators can always send invitations as well.
Search for the reviewee. Navigate to their Reviews tab. Beneath each review in progress is a Request feedback button which will allow you to invite colleagues to provide their feedback.
From the feedback invitation dialogue you can type and select the people you would like to provide feedback - you can invite as many users as you like but may have some internal guidelines on the number that is appropriate. You are also able to see anyone you have already requested from and what the status of their feedback is.
You can also add in a message to go alongside the request if you would like invitees to focus on a particular project, for example. You may also be able to nominate external stakeholders to give feedback depending on your account configuration.
You can also request feedback from within a review itself.
The nominee will be sent an email and will be able to give feedback to the employee.
Note: the review has to be open in order for people to provide their feedback - if you're still waiting on responses don't close it off.
Sending feedback nominations automatically / in bulk
If you set up a review individually or in bulk, you can choose to automatically send feedback invitations if you'd like to include "reviewee's team mates" (people reporting to the same manager as the reviewee) and/or "reviewee's direct reports" (people who report to the reviewee):
The invitations will be sent immediately when you create the review(s).
We can also enable this feature if you use automated review cycles, just let us know you'd like it at support@appraisd.com
