Troubleshooting

How do I connect my Contact Sensor to the internet?

Contact Sensors connect to the Sensor Bridge on the back of your Indoor Camera. This acts as a hub for the Motion Sensors, so make sure they are in ‘range’ of each other.

You’ll need to ensure the Sensor Bridge is online and showing a solid blue light before setting up your Contact Sensor. Ensure the Sensor Bridge is firmly inserted, you have removed the battery tab, and you have completed the setup of the Indoor Camera.

What do the lights on my Contact Sensor and Bridge mean?

If the Sensor Bridge is showing a solid blue light, it is online and ready to connect to a Leak Sensor. If it is yellow, you may need to ‘reboot’ it. Reboot the Sensor Bridge by disconnecting it from the Indoor Camera and plugging it back in after one minute.

If the Sensor Bridge is still showing a yellow light, please ensure your indoor camera is also showing a solid blue light. Both devices must be online for the Motion Sensor to be set up and stay connected.

What is the battery life of my Contact Sensor?

The battery in your Contact Sensors should last between 12-18 months. The Sky Protect App will let you know when a device’s battery is ‘low’ and again when ‘critically low’. There’s no need to change the batteries unless you get either of these notifications.
