Things to consider before setting up your Contact Sensor

For a complete guide of things to know before set-up, see here.

You’ll need to connect your Indoor Camera and Sensor Bridge. Make sure they both show a solid blue light. This means your setup has been successful.

Installing your Contact Sensor

  1. Tap the Contact Sensor tile on your home screen

  2. Pull out the battery tab.

  3. Gently press the pin (provided in your box) into the small hole on the side of the Contact Sensor for 3 seconds and release. The light on the front of the Contact Sensor should now flash three times, which indicates the device is in pairing mode with the sensor bridge. It can take about a minute.

  4. Position your Contact Sensor in your chosen place and assign it a name and select its location in the app.

Choosing the right spot

  1. From the smaller half of the Contact Sensor, peel the paper from the adhesive backing and place it on your door or window frame.
